Dear applicant,

Thank you for your interest in our Graduate School HIGRADE.
The Helmholtz Interdisciplinary Graduate School for Environmental Research invites applicants for Doctoral Scholarships in the research fields below.

The positions are open until an appropriate candidate is found (if not stated otherwise).
Each doctoral candidate will have supervisors both at the partner university and at the UFZ. Central working place is the cooperating university.
Please, download the following application form, fill it in, add scans of your certificates etc. and send them in ONE pdf-file back to higrade@ufz.de.
Please, reduce the pixels during the scanning process and send your application as an attachment lower than 2 MB !

HIGRADE involves all doctoral candidates located at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ and joint scholarship holders at the partner universities.
HIGRADE consists of a three-year research project (theory and/or experiment based) combined with a graduate course curriculum leading to a dissertation. Seminars and courses are conducted in English; German language courses are offered to international candidates. A superior Master's degree or equivalent is required for admission.
